Leopardi 25 Palermo, 90144 Palermo (PA) – Italy, VAT No.  06184940820 (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner“), is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Below, we provide the privacy policy for the website www.jonioyachting.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site“), as the data controller of the personal data of users who browse and are registered on the Site (hereinafter referred to as the “Users“), in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation” or “Applicable Legislation“).

 

The Controller respects the right to privacy and the protection of personal data of its Users. For any inquiries regarding this Privacy Policy, Users may contact the Controller using the following methods:

  1. Purpose of Processing

The personal data of Users will be lawfully processed by the Controller in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulation for the following purposes:

  1. Site navigation: This includes the collection of technically necessary User data, such as IP address, while browsing the site.

With reference to the purposes referred to in points 1/a, 1/b, 1/c, the legal basis of the processing is the performance of the services provided through the Sites and requested by you (pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the Privacy Regulation 2016/679).

  1. PROCESSING METHODS AND DATA RETENTION TIMES

The Data Controller will process Users’ personal data using both manual and computerized tools, employing logic strictly related to the specified purposes. Furthermore, measures will be implemented to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.

Personal data of Site Users will be retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in paragraph 1 above, or as required for the protection of civil law interests of both Users and the Data Controller. Regarding the purpose mentioned in paragraph 1.b, data will be retained until you object to receiving the newsletter. This can be done through the provided link in the newsletter or by exercising the rights outlined in paragraph 4.

  1. SCOPE OF DATA COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE

The personal data of Users may be shared with employees and/or collaborators of the Data Controller responsible for managing the Site. These individuals, formally designated by the Owner as “data processors,” will handle User data exclusively for the purposes outlined in this notice and in compliance with the provisions of the Applicable Regulations.
Additionally, third parties acting as “External Data Processors,” such as providers of IT and logistical services essential for the Site’s operation, providers of outsourced or cloud computing services, as well as professionals and consultants, may also have access to Users’ personal data.
Users have the right to request a list of any Data Processors appointed by the Data Controller. This can be done by contacting the Data Controller as outlined in paragraph 4 below.

  1. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Users have the right to exercise their rights as guaranteed by the Applicable Regulations. They can do so by contacting the Controller through the following methods:

  • Sending a registered letter with return receipt to the registered office of the Owner.
  • Sending an email to the address info@jonioyachting.com;
  • In accordance with the Applicable Regulations, users may exercise their rights as outlined in Articles 15 and subsequent of the Regulations, as provided for in Article 12 thereof.

  • If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the Regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority. This can be done in the Member State in which you usually reside, work, or where the alleged violation occurred.
